Annandale United plays in Division 1 of the National Capital Soccer League. Sister teams Annandale United FC "Bulldogs" and Annandale United AC play in Div. 2 and Div. 6, respectively.

Congratulations Owen!

Congratulations to Owen Howe, who is being considered for the national pool of the US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program.

Olney Capital Cup Champions

Our best tournament performance yet, including a defeat of an extremely talented Bayside United Aston Villa Flames in the semi-final. An energized Bethesda United gave us a very tough final. Results...

Dulles National Finalist

Despite missing key defenders, Annandale gave rival Herndon FC a run for its money in the final. Down 3-0 following some defensive mishaps, Annandale fought back with two quick goals in the second half, and missed several excellent scoring opportunities, but luck was not on our side. Results...

  Virginia Beach Sun Cup Champions

Annandale faced some solid competition from southern Virginia in this mid-Summer tournament. Results...

  Mid-Atlantic Cup Finalist

.This was our first test with a couple of new players on the roster. The team performed well, but lost to a strong HMMS 93 from Pennsylvania in the final. Results...

US Club Soccer Regional Semi-Finalist

Annandale United defeated three tough opponents in the US Club Soccer Regional tournament in early July. The semi-final pitted Annandale against Rochester Futbol. After battling Rochester during regulation, Annandale took the lead in overtime. Rochester got the equalizer on a very poor call by the referee, which results in a penalty kick. Like Kirkwood, the boys (again) failed to connect in a penalty shootout. Results...

Kirkwood Finalists!

In June, the United travelled to the Kirkwood Premier Tournament in Deleware. The first three opponents were shut out  5-0 (Hans Soliz), 2-0 (Kirkwood  Ajax), and 4-0 (LDC United FC Orange). The semi final with a "sorta" shutout over LSTS FC Madrid (an "own goal" resulted in the first goal conceded, but a 2-1 victory). The final -- the third game on Sunday! -- against Baltimore Bays Barcelona ended in a 2-2 and went to a penalty shootout.  Results...

Div. 1 Champions!

The United's Div. 1 debut was a tremendous success. The team chalked up 7W 1L 1T, with 20 goals scored and 3 against. A loss to arch rival Team America wasn't so hard to swallow following a victory over Virginia State Cup champions Herndon FC. Combined with its Fall 2007 successes in Div. 2, the United's record is 16W 1L 2T, with a phenomenal goals differential of 50:6. It helps to have the best keeper in the region!

Jefferson Cup Champions!

March 2008 -- Annandale United pummeled its opponents in Richmond to secure the championship of the Premier division of this top tournament. 15 goals scored -- 4 against. Bo's match writeup | Results...

Arlington Invitational Finalists

March 2008 -- Annandale United managed to reach the finals in this tough tournament by scoring scoring only one goal in three lead-up matches.  Bo's match writeup | Results...
